Release 2-Controlware 10.00

A rich addition to Dataset security, an extension of the connection for Authorization Management Pro and powerful optimizations of Authorization Monitoring. You will understand that we are very excited about this new major release of our Authorization Suite for Microsoft Dynamics.

New in 2-Controlware

• Compatible with Dynamics 365 Business Central R14 release.
• Dataset security has been extended with table relations. Until now it was only possible to filter on a table itself, but now also on a related table. This means that, for example, you can filter purchase rules by fields from the purchase header or you can limit sales price management to specific article categories.
• Connection of Authorization Management Pro, for example for IAM (Identity Access Management) has been extended with new fields (including flexible fields). This allows the functionality of Authorization Management Pro to be fully utilized.
• Many small optimizations in the form of bug fixes. Especially the modules Authorization Management Pro and Authorization Monitoring have been improved.

For Authorization Box we have a new release every two weeks. 

New in Authorization Box

• The recorder for recording authorization sets is back as functionality in Authorization Box. The recorder is available for Dynamics NAV versions from 2017.
  The Authorization Box recorder takes double records into account, creating powerful and clean authorization sets. The new function 'remote recording' makes it possible to record a user other than yourself. The improved recorder only works in combination with 2-Controlware 10.00.
• The Authorization Box connector for the connection with the Dynamics NAV database has undergone a change, making the fast version of web service available. The new connector can also update itself so that downloading new versions is no longer necessary.

Use with Dynamics NAV

The 2-Controlware release 10.00 is available for Dynamics NAV versions 2013 to NAV2018 and of course 365 Business Central. With a downgrade, all modules can be used on older Dynamics NAV versions.

For the implementation of the new 2-Controlware suite, no code needs to be changed. Replacing the objects is sufficient. In the image below you can see the compatibility of our modules.
